Gideon Mensah is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Auxerre (not Ghana) and the Ghana national team. Born on July 18, 1998, in Accra, Mensah began his career at the Right to Dream Academy before moving to Europe to join Red Bull Salzburg. He has had loan spells at Sturm Graz, Zulte Waregem, and Vitória de Guimarães to develop his skills. Mensah is known for his pace and versatility, capable of playing as a left-back or center-back.
