Born on July 22, 1998, in Alella, Spain, he began his career at Barcelona's famed La Masia academy before making his senior debut for Barcelona B in 2017. Cucurella later played for Eibar, Getafe, and Brighton & Hove Albion, where his performances earned him a move to Chelsea in 2022.
