Mohammed Salisu is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a center-back for AS Monaco and the Ghana national team. Born on April 17, 1999, in Kumasi, Ghana, Salisu began his career at the African Talent Football Academy before moving to Spain to join Real Valladolid in 2017. His strong defensive displays earned him a transfer to Southampton in 2020, where he became a key player in the Premier League. In 2023, he joined AS Monaco. Salisu is known for his physicality, tackling, and aerial ability. He made his debut for Ghana in 2022 and was part of the squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
